I need some help on how  to create a new JIRA Scripted Custom Field obtaining LDAP attributes, I have script runner installed would any one know how this could be done with script runner scripted fields.

Hi Aron, 

You can do this with Groovy but the secure and 'mature' connection code might be complex. I'd recommend to use   this plugin: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.intenso.jira.plugins.ad-integration-manager/server/overview

In the 2.0 version there are REST API methods to return synchronised LDAP attributes for users.
