Hi,
At the moment we are using Zephyr to track our testing of a piece of software. To test all the functionality there are multiple scenarios of the same test. This means that during testing someone will perform the same task over and over just with slightly different data.
Does anyone know if there is an easier way to do it? We would need each test to still be different so we can report on it. Something like a parent test with the test info and then sub tests that just contain different data.
Thanks in advance
Hi Jira Support team
Thanks for your interest in Zephyr. We dont have an explicit way of creating sub tests pointing to a parent test .However a small work around that we can suggest based on your requirement to make your work easier is eiter clone the test cycle and edit the test steps to your requirement or use the "Copy Test Steps" feature as mentioned in the links below
For this feature we will have to raise a feature request with our product team for them to consider in future releases
Thanks
