Hide reports and export buttons

Hi, I'm testing the Gebsun Hide Time Tracking plugin and I've managed to get it to hide time info on individual tickets for certain types of users but I can't see how I would prevent these same users being able to either run reports or export ticket information - both of these activities give them access to time tracking info so without the removal of these options for these users I can't see that this plugin offers me the solution I need - doesn anyone know how to do this

The problem mentioned above (Export to Excel) is still not solved.

A user without Log Work permissions can still see the time spent when exporting the issue list to xls.

The plugin is useless without a fixe to this bug...

Hi,

Version 2.0 with the fix has been released. 

This version is not free any more. We decided to make it paid to cover significant amount of time spent on development and testing. That will also let us provide customers with professional support and work on upgrades/fixes in a more timely manner.

Hi Joe,

What do you mean by "run reports"?

WRT "exporting issue" it is not possible to remove time tracking information from such report. We can only remove "export" button totally. Let us know if you think it is the right way to go.

Thanks for the reply. The current issues we face are...

1. that all users can view reports including one called "Time Tracking Report" - to see this go to a project and view the summary page and then scroll down to the reports section. From here users can access reports about the project that include time tracking data

2. that all users can view the export button and from there download info that includes time tracking data - to see this go to a project click on Issues/All Issues and the Export button appears in the top right hand side of the screen - ideally I'd like to remove/hide this button from certain users - how would I do this?

WRT #1 I cannot see any "Time Tracking Report" on the project page. Can you attach a screenshot? Is it maybe provided by some third-party plugin? Tempo?

What is your JIRA version? I can see these reports but only on the Reports page, not on the Project page.

Do you want to hide all the reports or only Time Tracking report?

It's v6.0.5, ideally I'd like to hide all reports for certain users/user types, but definately anything related to time tracking
