How can I add a task to WBS Gantt-Chart?

Hello, I just downloaded WBS Gantt-Chart(9.8.0.17)-Jira and cannot add a task.

The Add button is greyed out.

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong as I have used various Gantt charts before.

Maybe I need to add tasks via Jira, which are then imported to the Gantt chart...but how?

Hi,

You probably need to confirm Jira issue permission, the user must have the
Issue creation permission in Jira to add a task to Gantt-chart. And also if you have configured to "Specified issue type" mode, you can not add it from a Project or a Version unless root setting is checked.
