How does this work when copying documents?

We currently have around ~1,900 pages of documentation for each release. We usually use the Bob Swift CLI tool to copy these pages to create a documentation baseline for the next version. Do the translated versions of each page get copied when using the Confluence server-side page hierarchy copy? We'd need to know that this happens properly before we could consider using this.
