How to hide a custom field in a screen based on project

Hey guys, how can I hide a custom field which is applied to all screens and all projects by default? I don't want it to show for certain projects. This is in JSD. I tried going to the field configuration, and then de-associating the field with the screens of the specific project, but it still shows up in the edit view of the form (incident in question). Ideas?

If you removed a custom field from all screens, then you should not see the field in the screens. I guess, you did not remove it from the edit screen.

Thanks, I also discovered that I can use field scheme configurations so that I can isolate a field to the scope of a specific project(s). Case solved!
