How to run jira-python scripts in workflow?

I write a jira-python scripts, for posting data from jira issue to CMDB, and now i want to use it in Workflow transition... I found that Script Runner can only run Groovy scripts(or i don't find it ?) 

How to do this ?

Hi Sinton,

I would also take a look at the Communities post Python scripts to work for JIRA.  One user provided the following as their solution:

I solved the problem by using the Add-on Script runner in Jira. There I created a scripted field in Groovy and called the command prompt and run the python script from there.

Take a look at the post for the sample script they used.
