×I have a JIRA Custom Field Plugin for which History Log entries are being made when other fields are edited, even if the Custom Field isn't changed.
Anyone know how to fix this?
This turned out to be a coding issue that we had to create a work-around for.
Nic,
Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my question.
The issue ended up being a self-inflicted wound, but we coded around it.
Thanks again.
Cheers!

Um, if you're making changes to the DB directly in Jira, you've broken it. Unless you did it while Jira was down and you re-index afterwards.
Anyway, to the main question:
What plugin is providing this field, and what does the field actually do?

Maybe if you make some changes, is it possible that JIRA have to make its internale changes for align all the table in the DB...
