Links Hierarchy Structure - suggestion for improvement?

I like the look of the 3.3, so thanks for that improvement. I do have some concerns.

1. The older version of Links Hierarchy retained the settigs when you moved from one jira issue to another. For example, if I chose "full depth", the next issue I view would also display as "full depth". Or if I chose to only view certain issue link types, those choices would still be set for the next issue I view.

2. I don't like to have to drill down I depth level at a time. I would like to see the entire hierarchy the first time I view an issue. It is confusing to have to keep clicking the down arrow, not knowing how many clicks it will take to get to the full depth. Users may not even realize there are more levels in the hierarchy.

3. Inward links used to be turned off by default. This was at my request so the large complicated link hierarchies don't cause performance problems.

I would really like that same behavior in this newer version. So far I have only used the new version in the test environment. I probably will stick with the older version until this functionality is back in the new version.

Thanks for your continued progress on this plugin. :)

1. The older version of Links Hierarchy retained the settigs when you moved from one jira issue to another... Or if I chose to only view certain issue link types, those choices would still be set for the next issue I view.

The newer version supports it too, but is the user who decides about this behaviour. By default, the add-on do not remember the user settings but you can force it from the More button > Autosave configuration filter. This currently does not apply to the the Depth. It's the only one filter not saved because it had not much sense...

2. I don't like to have to drill down I depth level at a time. I would like to see the entire hierarchy the first time I view an issue. For example, if I chose "full depth", the next issue I view would also display as "full depth"

This is related to the previous issue in some way. Autosaving a concrete depth it was not a good idea, maybe some option might be supported to let user set autoexpand ALL the levels, just under the current autosave filter options and working in a similar way, for instance. Please, have a look at the current autosave filters option and let me know if a new option supporting full autoexpand would work for you.

Users may not even realize there are more levels in the hierarchy.

It is not perfect, but currently they can click on the autoexpand one level button many times, until the Depth level label remains unchanged meaning the full depth has been reached. Anyway, I'll try to support the depth autosaving.

3. Inward links used to be turned off by default. This was at my request so the large complicated link hierarchies don't cause performance problems.

As mentioned (just I've read you realized there is an autosave option ;), the user can un-check the outward links and this will remain as the default setting next times.

Thanks for your continued progress on this plugin. :)

...and more is coming ;)

I did just notice that I could auto-save my configuration, which is nice. It did not save the depth level settings, however.
