Manage Add-ons Error

Joe Reyna January 21, 2013

I have a 4.3.5 Linux Confluence Standalone Server. When I click on the Manage Add-ons section of Confluence-Admin I get the following message and error:

The Atlassian Marketplace server is not reachable. To avoid problems when loading this page, you can disable the connection to the Marketplace server. Click here for more information...

An unexpected error occurred. Please refer to the logs for more information.

How can I enable plugins? I don't have a firewall enabled on my linux server.

This error is displayed also in Confluence 7.1. It helped us to replace the JAR file of the old version 2.18.4 of the system add-on Universal Plugin Manager instead of the current version. Then all was OK.
