New feature in version 2.7 induce confusion

With this new release, in the dashboard widget, user click on the plus sign to enter work log.

When they do this, an input field is given. They fill the field with their time entry altough it's a field for comments. They are surprised that entering 2h result in 1d (the default).

Is there a possibility to disable this disturbing feature ?

Version 2.7.2 with possibility to adjust time spent is just out.
