Hi @Fahad Siddiqui
Choose > Applications.
Select Versions and licenses to view your existing JIRA applications license details.
Locate the license you want to update, and click on to edit the license.
Replace the existing license key with your new license key in the License field.
Thanks
Yoga

@Fahad SiddiquiJira will automatically ask you for re-indexing if any of your plugin demand that. Usually, this happen when your plugin deal with Custom Fields and have updated/migrated some data internally.

Currently we are using JIRA instance server on 2012 server.
now if servers are been migrated to cloud 2016

You stay on Jira Server.
Jira Cloud is different product that Atlassian offer in 'Software as a Service' mode, and this does not means installer for cloud platforms.
Don't get confused by name.
