While the draw.io solution probably could not support a custom font in the PDF export because the font files must be included - a local JIRA server installation could possible support that.
Our current workaround is to export the drawing as PNG or SVG and then create the PDF outside draw.io Plugin.
Problem: Currently the PDF export in draw.io does not render custom fonts - instead the font "Times New Roman" or other replacements are used.
After checking the JAR the mxPDF package contains fonts for also generating the PDFs so I guess that additional fonts must be included in the plugin itself. We would like to use the SourceSansPro font.
Hi Michael,
At the moment, draw.io doesn't support Jira plugin configuration,
but feel free to vote for and track this feature request here:

draw.io support
A JIRA plugin configuration that shows more than
```
Plugin Version 7.1.1
Plugin Vendor JGraph
```
might be a good solution if there is something to configure.
The problem described here is that the PDF output with mxPDF only supports the few included fonts in the JIRA plugin. So the workaround confirmed with support is to use the print output that basically generates an SVG export with the font family used that then can be used with a PDF printer on the client or e.g. the Chrome browser PDF export routine to include the custom font.
