Confluence plugin - "Smart Questions and Answers" - searching by substring

I have Smart QA overview macro inserted in my confluence page.

If I search with a whole word (for example "pattern") it works great (it searches this word in question/answer page name, page content, labels, etc.). 

But if I use just substring (for example "patt") it searches nothing at all. 

Is it just about to set it properly in editing mode or is it the matter of "macro-code" itself, so I will not be able to do anything with this not satisfactory state?

sorry for the late answer. Unfortunatly we do not get emails when somebody asks within the community.

The search follows the regular Confluence search - you can find substrings as supported by Confluence.
