×Hello, in my PPP Project, users who are using worklog attributes and the validation settings in Tempo, need to disable the log work module in JIRA, to force the usage of the Tempo validation.
I ve seen in:
http://www.tempoplugin.com/faq/how-can-i-disable-the-jira-log-work-dialog/
that
**Please note that it is not currently possible to disable the log work module in the OnDemand environment.
¿Can you help me in any way?
If Atlassian refuses to allow for the disabling of the native 'Log Work', then perhaps you could relabel the Tempo one? Just label it 'Log Work (Tempo)' or something similar.
It would make all the difference in the world.
The disabling of the JIRA Log Work dialog on JIRA Cloud is out of scope of Tempo. You need to contact Atlassian about this, but as they have closed the above mentioned issue (feature request for disabling JIRA Log Work on Cloud), I am not sure if they will consider a new feature request for this.
Regards,
Susanne

Hi Javier,
this is the answer that was given in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-23935to this request on 27/June/14:
"Thanks for everyone's feedback and votes.
We've taken a look and we've decided that we won't be working this feature in the near future. We will be focusing our development efforts on other work that we believe will deliver a better overall experience......."
Kind regards,
Susanne

Tempo team - As an Atlassian Cloud customer, when can i expect support from Tempo to allow me to disable the JIRA's default Log Work dialog? This is a pain in the rear as you know since we give two dialogs to the user...savvy users find the stock dialog to avoid putting a description when logging hours <arrrrgggggh>, thereby bypassing the validation I have setup for those who can follow my instruction of using the "w" shortcut to raise the Tempo dialog...yes, we have read your statement here, but it's 2.5 yrs old now. Please give us a timeline for such capability? I grow tired of a being a Cloud customer...and thank you.

No. Generally, you cannot do anthing. You could try to add a Javascript to the custom field that shows on the screen but I am quite sure that it won't work too.
