Upgraded from Jira 7.6 to 8.2.1 and I am now having the above error.  

However when I check my error logs I am not seeing an actual error for the plugin:

catalina.out: com.balsamiq.wireframe.socketio.port : xxxxxxx
catalina.out: com.balsamiq.wireframe.socketio.protocol : http
catalina.out: Balsamiq Wireframes for JIRA Server : com.balsamiq.jira.plugins.mockups

(of course the x's are data entries I have removed)

I checked the configurations and everything looks correct, I restarted service but still the error is persisting.

Ugh, I'm sorry about that, Ashley.

Can you start a brand new project with the default permission schema and see if you get the error as well?

If so, would you send us an email?

It may be easier to troubleshoot with our dev team over email.
