How do i get the SumUp add on showing on jira dashboard

Hi. I have installed and configured the SumUP add on for JIRA. It adds the values up when looking at the issue filter in list mode however not on the dashboard, which is what i want. How do I do this? 
The summary page of the add on stated it would work on the dashboard.

Hi David Fogarty,

in the issue navigator when you select a filter and click the calculate button, sumup saves this and will automaticly show the sumrow in the dashboard gadget "Filter Result" when you select this filter.

We are going to add a configuration to enable the calculations in the filter configuration, but for now it should work like described.
