How to display only mandatory fields on Edit screen ?

Hi,

My request is very simple but I can't find any solution ...

I want to display only mandatory fields on my edit screen automatically, without performing the action to click on "Configure Fields" at the right top of the form.

is that possible to set displaying (by defaults) only mandatory fields ?

You can add diferents Tabs in screen so you can have one tab with Mandatory fields and the another with the other fields.

I think that is not the optimal solution but you see at first the mandatory fields and, if you want, you can view the other fields if you go to the another tab in the screen.

I would recommend :

1. you to create a new screen with only the mandatory fields.

2. Create a new screen scheme and associate the new screen with the issue operation - Edit Issue.

3. Associate your jira project with the new screen scheme.

That should resolve your problem.

I thought about this solution, but my need is to have the possibility to display the other fields too, with the "Configure Fields" button.
