Jira Insight capabilities on Virtual Networks

I am looking for a definitive answer. I have a consultant that insists that Insight will not discover and probe objects on a virtual network. Is this true? I don't see any discussions that it is. Please provide a link to your source. Thank you.

Hi Brian,

I think you mean Insight Discovery? Right?

If yes, it doesn't matter if your network is virtual.

Insight Discovery is using different connection protocols like WMI, PowerShell, SSH, SNMP, etc.

and they will also work if the Network is virtual.
