License install issue

The license I downloaded from myatlassian does NOT work

The plugin says that the license should have a ---Begin Certificate-----, etc. which my license does not have

It looks like the plugin itself is from the vendor directly and not from Atlassian

and there seems to be 2 distinct licensing mechcanisms

Can I use the myatlassian license with the jar downloaded from the vendor?

Should this be an issue in the first place?

Hello Michael,

As above, My Atlassian contains only licenses for Atlassian products.

To generate a license for Excel Connector for JIRA you should use Atlassian Marketplace, where you can get the 30-day trial license or purchase a license.

Hello Michael,

If the plugin installed is a third-party plugin, then the license should be obtained from the vendor not from Atlassian. my.atlassian.com contains only licenses for Atlassian products which you have purchased (e.g. JIRA, Confluense, etc..). Any other third party plugin license should be provided by the vendor himself.
