Log Work (By Roles) not working

Boxplosive July 25, 2016

Hi, I've copied all default screens, schemes and modified them with the new fields. I then configured a few projects to use the new screens and schemes, but the Log Work button does not open the Log Work (By Roles) screen. Everything else is working.

What am I missing?

Hi,

Could you please check the following points, and see if it gets fixed:

  • Go to "Configuration" page by clicking Configure/Get Started button in the plugin's UPM and make sure that you finish up the plugin configuration as directed on that page.
  • Make sure you have a valid license installed for the plugin.
  • Go to project's Administration configuration page and select "Time Tracking" from the left pane, and see if you have configured the time tracking by roles scheme for this project (using the menue on right top corner.
  • The Log Work (By Roles) screen hides the roles dropdown if there is only one role configured for that issue type or the project, so check that too, by looking at other 2 CFs viz. time tracking (By Roles) or Assignees (By Roles) and see if they are using any roles.
  • The log Work (By Roles) screen/modal can also go back to using no roles, in case the issue's role estimates are out of sync (when out of sync, the Time Tracking (By Roles) CF will show you option to choose whether you want to sync it back).

Please let us know if the above points help, and if not, you can get back to us with a bit more detail about the issue and we can work to get it fixed asap.

Thanks,

Abhinav Ojha.
