Hi Teo,
Your ScriptRunner (4.3.16) will continue to work (perpetually). However, once the maintenance expires you will not be able to receive support (from our Support Portal) nor will you be able to update your software version. This means you will miss out on any new features as well as bug fixes beyond the version you are on at the time of expiry.
Renewals are at 50% of the new price for as long as 90 days. If you let your renewal period expire you will then need to buy ScriptRunner at full price should you wish to upgrade.
At some point you will likely upgrade JIRA and you may (or may not) need to upgrade ScriptRunner to remain compatible should you do that.
I hope that helps.
