Hi Tempo!
I'm curious to know if you have any information about your planned integration with Quickbooks? I saw it mentioned in a transcript of one of your Q&As. We're working on moving our time tracking into JIRA and one of the last pieces is figuring out how to get it from there into Quickbooks. Many thanks in advance!
The integration with Quickbooks is on our Roadmap but I can not give you any timeframe yet when this feature will be available. In the meantime, as Quickbooks offers the import of Excel and CSV files, you could use the Excel export for worklogs and the CSV for Accounts.
Hope this helps
Susanne (Tempo)

Has there been any movement on this? Wondering if this is something that Tempo Books accomplishes or if anyone has created any useful Zaps in Zapier for it.

@Susanne Götz [Tempo] I would like to second the statement above. Our company needs an invoice and billing solution to tie into the time tracking. We are also curious as to Tempo Books coming to JIRA Cloud?

Hi @Jennifer Kendrick,
Tempo Books has been deprecated with the release of Tempo Timesheets 8 at the end of May.
Most of the Tempo Books features have been integrated into Timesheets 8, but this version will not be available on Cloud until late this year/ early next year.
Regards,
Susanne

Thanks @Susanne Götz [Tempo]
I was wondering why Tempo Books mysteriously disappeared. I am happy to know that they will now become one! We will fully utilize the new features. Until then, we will have to deal with manual exporting of reports from Tempo Timesheets. Do you have any suggestions other than having to make pivot tables in the exports in order to create custom invoices?

deprecation of Tempo Books doesn't really answer where integration into Quickbooks from tempo is currently? This was mention as being "on the roadmap" in Jan 2014 – 2.5 years ago. How long is the roadmap? Is this happening?

Hi @Jennifer Kendrick,
currently this is the only way to export Timesheets.
You might want to take a look at the Accounts export (PDF) and see if this is helpful for you. See https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO080/Exporting+worklogs+as+a+PDF+file for more information.

Susanne

Hi @Joseph Woods,
Sorry that I have no update on this. We do have a feature request for this in our JIRA that you can vote and comment on (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/browse/TT-2901).

Susanne

Susanne,
That issue is not viewable even after logging in. Can you please express in your ticket the continuing interest in this integration.
Best,
Doug

VRP has released free plugin to synchronize worklogs to Quickbooks, check it out at https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.vrpinc.timeactivity-quickbooks
We have an extended version of plugin that integrates with Tempo (only approved hours are sent to Quickbooks, billable and non billable hours are sent separately) that we plan to use internally, but this one isn't published yet.

Hi, @Matt Ransford1
Since Tempo has suspended their QuickBooks integration, you can try the Clerk Invoices Jira app. It helps generate invoices from Jira and Tempo worklogs and export them to QuickBooks.
I'm the developer of this app, so you can ask me any questions!

Thanks Aleskey.
Could you share updated version of the given plug-in for new JIRA versions and Would it feasible to provide that extended version of plug-in to the community?
I am happy to provide support in upgrading the plug-in and in implementing additional functionality.
