Adding an Add-on to Confluence (Brikit Theme Press)

Caleb Mutti July 15, 2019

I wanted to install Theme Press by Brikit. Step 3 in the instructions say:

3. Install add-on

Note: You must have administrative rights to install an add-on.

  • Open your Atlassian application and log in.
  • Navigate to the administration section. You may need to log in again (we're super secure).
  • Choose "Add-Ons", then navigate to "Manage Add-Ons" (the "Install" section in older versions).
  • Click the "Upload Add-On" link and upload this file.

I can't seem to find the "Add-Ons" section though. Can anyone help?

Hi @Caleb Mutti,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

If you are the more recent versions of Confluence, "Add-ons" was changed to apps, so look for Manage Apps instead.

Awesome, thank you. I don't think Brikit Theme Press Designer is available for the cloud version though, unless I'm missing something.

@Caleb Mutti correct, Brikit is only available on Server. You could look at Refined Spaces, it does something similar to Brikit and and allows you to define different themes. I use Refined Themes on our server instance which is similar.

Thanks for the recommendation, @Mikael Sandberg I will try out Refined Spaces.
