I'm using "Templates for Blog Posts", by bitvoodoo. The add-on is great for creating custom blog-post templates and adding numerous labels.
However, I need to lock down view permissions to a certain group of users, and I was wondering if this is possible to accomplish automatically, once the post is created.
Can you add custom permissions to templates?
I am Niklas from bitvoodoo. Sorry we haven't found this question earlier. But better late than never. :)
Edit: I thought about the wrong add-on, sorry! Removed the wrong bits from this answer.
Best Regards
Niklas
We think your idea is great and we added a feature request to our backlog: TEMPBLOG-35

Hi @Sloan N_ B_
Thanks for including my suggestion as a possible feature on the next update. I look forward to using it.

Hi,
we make heavy use of restricted blog posts in our site, so we would love to see this feature, too!
Ideally, we would want to let the blog post inherit its restrictions from the site that contains the "create blog from template"-macro. The confluence default macro "create from template" already does this. Would it be possible for your plugin to mimic that behavior?
Cheers,
Raphael
