Help with calculating Confluence dates

I could use help with calculating with dates in Confluence.

Each of our projects has a deadline date.

Depending on the type of project, it has more or less phases or milestones, each with their own deadline.

We want to calculate those milestone deadlines based on the project deadline.

Ideally, we should be able to define the amount of days to subtract from the project deadline dynamically.

An example:

• Project A of type X has a deadline of March 29, 2019 and has three milestones B, C and D.
• Milestone B: -56 days: 31/01
• Milestone C: -28 days: 28/02
• Milestone D: -4 days: 25/03
• Project E of type Y has a deadline of March 29, 2019 and has two milestones F and G.
• Milestone F: -77 days: 10/01
• Milestone G: -35 days: 21/02

I have made some attempts to reach the required result but have failed:

• Report evaluation: %data:NextDate >date:day of month% - %data:PreviousDate >date:day of month%
• Calculates the difference between 2 dates, handy but I would like to do the opposite (add or subtract a number of days from a date)
• Report evaluation: %data:NextDate >date:day of month% -7
• Works for days but can go below zero so not usable.
• Report info key: data:NextDatum > date:"shift \ 7d"
• This works but is static since the 7d is a fixed value in the Confluence macro. It would be ideal if we could read this value (7 in this case), from a table dynamically.
• Report evaluation: %data:NextDate >date:milliseconds% - (%data:DateShift% * 1000 * 60 * 60 * 24)
• This is the desired result (DateShift is the amount of days to subtract, e.g. 7) but in milliseconds. If it is possible to calculate this back to a date, this would solve the problem for me.

Solved using the Report Info macro with as Key “variable:DateVariable >number:to date”

The Gantt chart will come in handy to represent data in a visual way.

However, it will not allow us to calculate dates based on a given deadline.

Being able to reformat a millisecond number back to a normal date would solve the problem for me too.
