How can I catch the Transition name of an Automation Rule

I am try to create an automation rule that will fire on a specific transition and create an issue in a separate project.

Creating the liked issue is not a problem thanks to this add-on, but at the moment I think I can only fire the rule on any transition and then filter on status

However as statuses can be reached through a number of different transitions, I am getting multiple linked issues.

I am trying to do:

State : In Progress

Transition : Create Bug

New State : In Code Fix (Automation creates bug in other project here)

Transition : Test Fix

New State : In Test

Transition : Test Fail

New State : In Code Fix

What I am trying to get is the new Bug to ONLY be created on the Create Bug transition, and NOT the Test Fail transition. Any help greatfully received.

Thanks

Peter

Hi Peter,

Thanks for raising this. We don't support the ability to only run an action when a specific transition is used yet, but we're already tracking this at https://codebarrel.atlassian.net/browse/AUT-993 (you may have to log out to view this or use an Incognito window).

We've got quite a few higher priority items in our backlog at the moment so it will be a while before we can get to this, but we'll let you know when we get a chance to work on this.

Cheers,
John

OK, thanks John, shame, but thankfully the rest of the Automation product allows me to build up a set of statements to work around this issue

Thanks again, looking forward to AUT-993 :)
