As for now, Show Cadences option remains unavailable in BigPicture for Jira Cloud.
That is because there is no Board module available in BigPicture Cloud - it's planned to be released in February.

Cadences are based on the SAFe methodology ideas: http://www.scaledagileframework.com/ In BigPicture a cadence is mapped to a sprint. You will need to setup sprints on your project in order to view cadence on your gantt.

I am not able able to follow the steps in the provided link. The interface is different. I have the cloud version running on jira cloud.
I attached a picture below that shows the options I have when creating a new program.

Sorry I am on server so might be more difficult to figure out. Once you create your program is there a roadmap option on the program screen?

The closest I can come to the guide regarding Cadences, provided in the link you gave me, can be seen in the attached image below. It simply seems like I don't have the same options as seen on the server based applications.
