Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 21:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×Is there an add on available for JIRA Service desk server; Statuspage for Jira Service Desk?
We would like those features; a banner appearing at the top of your Service Desk letting your users know you're aware of the issue and ability to offer customers ability to sign up to get notified via email or SMS when you have an incident/maintenance window
Status Page is only available for cloud at this time. You can create a service desk announcement manually when you are having issues. This can be done in the service desk Project Settings > Portal Settings. On that page there is an Announcement area with a link "View and Change" your customer portal announcement. By clicking this you can add your announcement. You can also adjust the announcement permissions here as well.
@Brant Schroeder- what about the other functionality mentioned; a way to offer customers a mechanism to sign up and get notified via email or SMS when there are product outages, maintenance windows. Any suggestions or plug ins that accomodate this?
Also wondering if there is tool available to allow for including non-JIRA Service Desk account holders on these bulk notifications?

For some additional clarity, Statuspage is a Cloud-only offering. The reasoning is pretty simple: if you have an outage, you don't want to worry about your outage notification tool being affected too.
The Statuspage integration for Jira Service Desk does allow you to link your Statuspage with Server (or Cloud!) Jira Service Desk.
Use Statuspage for the actual notifications of incidents (SMS, email, etc) and then make use of the integration to automatically add a banner on your Service Desk customer portal.

I notice that there is no version of the Statuspage for Jira Service Management that supports 9.x Jira and 5.x versions of JSM. Is that ever gonna happen?
