I am using the "Create a sub-task" scripted post-function.
In "Fields to copy" I selected "Custom" from the radio button options and chose 'Assignee'
When my subtasks are created they are unassigned.
EDIT: This also happens when I choose to copy all fields
Please help.
Two things I would check would be:
- Are you able to manually create a sub-task and assign it to the user of the parent issue?
- Are the "As User" that you chose in the post-function allowed/able to create sub-tasks/issues in the project?

Hi Mathis,
Thank you for your reply - you were right on both accounts. I hadn't realized that this workflow was adjusted to include a post-function that set assignee (I hadn't added it) and I made the assumption (BAD IDEA) that if I didn't add one nobody else did. Thanks for breaking me out of that thought pattern!
