I'm looking into purchasing ScriptRunner. While the project recommends IntelliJ IDEA, that's a platform that i'm unlikely to use.
Do the scripts just sit in a directory such that i could edit them in Vim instead? I'm a die-hard vim user and would prefer to keep all of my work in that editor.
Has anyone tried working with vim and ScriptRunner? If so, what were your experiences?
Thanks
They can live on the disk instead of in the database.
When you look at each script, you'll see you can either enter the script into an editor, or you can load it from a file on the disk. You'll need to swap your scripts over to using the disk if you want to edit them directly. (I often do this, not because I want to edit them in a particular place, but because you can put the scripts under proper source control if they're on the disk)
