Hi.
How i have customfield with customer phone number. Asterisk server and Microsip as softphone on operators desktop. I want to make call when operator click on phone number field(when number transfers to microsip is a valid solution). Can you advise with plugin that can do this or any idea how to write it?
I just create an chrome extention that cast phone number field to desktop call application.
Hi, can you explain how you did it or where I can find it?

I found probably not the latest version of the project.

Keep in mind that this is a set of crutches and supports, not an industrial solution.

Thanks, Maybe that's enougth to start developing our own extension or something similar.
We've Asterisk Server and Jitsi as softphone on desktop. We want to do the same as you did, call a phone number stored on a Insight Fiel or a Custom Field. But is our first time ussing this type of Services and we're really lost on it.

1. Due to limitations of JS. You can't call desktop application from browser page.
2. To transfer data from page need to use Browser plugin that does that.
Note, only users that install this plugin to his browser can get able to use this functionality. Thus my solution cannot be apllicable to all users.
