We are trying to create a cascading show and hide on the customer portal forms on JIRA service desk module.
We setup a field with related field entries it works fine on the JIRA application but when we try to run the field on the Customer portal it doesn't perform the show and hide based on selection on other fields
Customer portal has its own view layer that is incompatible with JIRA's custom fields. Currently there is no API to make DynamicForms work in Service Desk Customer Portal.

Hi, as reviewed in Atlassian Blogs and answers installed the “Service Pack” for Service Desk plugin from the mentioned URL https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/287594/show-hide-feature-on-customer-portaland then when trying to configure the options for Show/Hide custom fields facing errors as shown below:

As mentioned in another blog, even updated the JIRA Version to 6.3.4 and reinstalled the Service Desk and Service Pack also. Even then when tried to configure options for Show/Hide custom fields facing the same issue as shown above.

There is an open issue for this in atlassian, may be in thier future releases they may bring this feature, till then you need to look for an alternative solution.
