We are setting up TFS4JIRA Synchronizer for the first time. We have been able to successfully test the connection between TFS4JIRA and JIRA. It appears that TFS4JIRA and JIRA are able to talk to each other becase we see the list of our JIRA projects in the TFS4JIRA Synchronizer configuration. However, when we get to the next screen where it's supposed to be showing the custom fields in JIRA and TFS, we see an error pop up that just says "ProtocolError".
We can't find any additional info on this error. We'll be providing the logs to the plugin company to see if they have more info, but I wanted to see if anyone else has seen this problem in the initial configuration before.
Hi Nate,
This error could be related to multi reasons. In your case based on the logs provided, the connection problem was caused by an error thrown from Jira due to the duplicated key issue. You may refer to the solution provided by Atlassian at https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/createissuemeta-returns-duplicate-key-error-872016885.html.
