The relationship between Prometheus Exporter For Jira and JMX

I found a JIRA Prometheus plugin:

At the same time, I found the built-in JMX support in JIRA 7.7:

Can they work together?

What will happen if I disable the JMX from  > System > JMX monitoring, and install the add-on: Prometheus Exporter For Jira ?

Hello, nothing. I didnt read atlassian classes for JMX but it is planned for some extra metrics.
