I am try to edit the reporter field with the value of request participant.

I looked up on the atlassian community but could not find any solution to that.

what i found can be seen in the screenshot.

Thanks for your question. I'd be happy to try and assist you with this. I just have a few questions first to understand your use case. In the comment action you're trying to reference the second request participant and in the edit action not the first? 

What are you trying to achieve with this? Are you expecting certain participants in a particular order?

Once I understand your use case I can assist you with the correct syntax.
