Workload users are populated, but issue data is entirely missing from calendar view and Start & Due date configuration menus have no data in the drop downs, clicking 'add' does ntohing.

While getting your question answered, I would also recommed you to contact the plugin vendor to seek their advice on what could be wrong with the configuration.
