We are using Tempo 7.5.3 with Jira 5.1.2 and would like to remove the Account Key from the Tempo Account custom field (or at least lead the field with the Account Name rather then the Key).
The reasoning behind this is the fact that we have a support project where all accounts are mapped to in order to have the time spent on support also looged towards the account.
When creating issues it makes it very hard to find the correct Account entry as our supporters do know the Customer & Account but not the Key. As we have over 500 accounts mapped here it makes it virtually impossible to easily find the correct account.
How can we alter the data displayed in this field?

Hi Joe, currently it's not possible to order by the account name, there's an issue you can vote:

Currently there is no easy solution to this problem but we are aware of it and plan to improve it. In theory, you should be able to extend the Account custom field and change the HTML rendering of the select box but that is something we have not looked at.
We have a related issue in our tracker that you might want to watch to track progress.
