Task status automatically changed

I'm using Automation Lite for Jira

We have one project only with an issue type as a task that is created when an email is sent. 

Also the reply to all to the email they are added as a comment on the task previously created.

We have this workflow

  1. To transition the taskfrom In progress to done when there are no emails coming in.
  2. To re-open the issue when a new email comes in.

How can I implement this ? With a issue trigger or scheduling ?

Do you know other implementation ?
