Update Custom Field on the basis of other field on Jira Cloud?

Hi All, I want to update a Customer ID (Read only Field) field on the basis of Customer Name (Select List Field), e.g. IF customer name is Atlassian then Customer ID should be auto-filled to 003 at the time of issue creation. What is the best way to achieve this without using a paid plugin. I am using Jira cloud. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, you can't achieve anything like this without a paid app (plugin). You'll need an app like JMWE for Jira Cloud, ScriptRunner or Automation for Jira.
