What happens after expiration of the maintenance licence?

I am assuming once the subscription/maintenance licence runs out, it will not be possible anymore to create any new questions or answers.

However, will it still be possible to access/read questions and answers posted before the licence expiration? Or will all access to the plugin's contents be deactivated?

In general it depends if you are using Evaluation or Non-evaluation license. When using Evaluation then when it ends you might not see something running but when you already used a plugin (installed from Marketplace) for a year (so Non-evaluation) then when it expires it should continue to work as before. More maintenance expire than license, so that you cannot receive support nor update to newer versions after the maintenance expiration date.
