Macro appears to work great.
When a page has multiple expando macros in use, a user must hunt for which expando has the content they are looking for. Is there a way to toggle or "Expand All" / "Collapse All" that maybe the page creator could place at the top of the page?
hi @efavreau , thanks for the post.
With our (K15t) free Expando app we do not offer the option to Expand All / Collapse All for the specific Expand macros that are on the page.
How would you envisage this working in Confluence? Would you require another macro to be added on the top of the page to control this or would you expect to see this functionality somewhere else?
Additionally, were you wanting all Expando macros to be expanded on the page or just the macros pertaining to certain heading level eg. all the Expando macros associated with heading level 1?
What was the use-case for requiring the macros to be expanded - was it simply so that you can search the content within the collapsed macros? If so, we currently have this open feature request that pertains to this functionality - https://k15t.jira.com/browse/EXPANDO-19
Kind regards, Thomas
A coworker found this and implemented it as a workaround: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/How-to-create-an-quot-Expand-All-quot-button-for-Confluence/qaq-p/294206
