Would I be able to search scheduled tasks (created using 'TheScheduler') based on fix version from JIRA issue search?

When you use JIRA issue search, you can only search issues (including those created by scheduled tasks), not the scheduled tasks itself. You can filter scheduled tasks in the Scheduled Issues table, by searching on: Name, Description, Created By, Modified By.
