componentLead(projectKey, componentName) to update custom field in post-function

How to use this function componentLead(projectKey, componentName) to update custom field in Create issue post-function  ?
I tried follow:
Set custom field: field_id
Custom field value: componentLead(%project%, 'QA') 
Component 'QA'  is present & component lead is present

Also tried  Custom field value: componentLead(%original_project%, QA) 

But target custom field is empty

Using follow:  Set custom field: field_id Custom field value: %parent_assignee%
work fine

should be used as value
