salesforce attachments

We have successfully implemented the SalesForce to Jira connector but don't seem to be able to display 'remote attachments'. i.e. cases created in Salesforce are successfully creating Jira issues and I can see SalesForce attachments listed in the 'Remote Attachments' tab in Jira but when I click on the attachment hyperlink I'm directed to a SalesForce site with a URL like 'https://www.salesforce.com/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P2000000MdDcuEAF

but instead of seeing the attachment I see a message 'Ooos, the page you're trying to view isn't here'. I've checked my Jira connector configuration and it appears to be o.k.

Any ideas?
