Application Monitoring

I am curious to know what tools are you using to monitor your applications. If they go down how do you get the alerts( via email, text,...)?Stay cool, not sure about you but I am already melting

We use Pingdom and get alerts via Text and Email.

The client counts right?  They're usually the best indicator, both of good stuff and bad stuff happening within the system :)

@Billy Poggi AUG NOVA_ DC  I don't like when the customer is the one informing me that an Application is down. I feel worthless.

I rather get notified so that I can send out the email or any other team member on the Alert Distro.
