Rovo Agent to read custom fields

I need Rovo Agent to provide me info based on the Jira filter. I have the custom field there, but Rovo couldn't see it saying to me that it is empty while it is for sure not. Please, help to fix this.

A couple questions here:

  1. How many work items is your filter returning?
  2. How many custom fields does your instance have?

It's possible in less governed instances for the calls to pull Jira data to have an excessive number of empty fields associated with each work item due to custom fields not having strict contexts which causes the query to hit its token limit.

In your prompt, try specifying the exact set of fields you want Rovo to return - that has helped with this issue for me in the past.

I specify the exact field I need, but Rovo is saying that this field is empty. While there is data in it. Number of workitems - 400. I need only three fields and one of them is custom

Agreed with @Rebekka Heilmann _viadee_, if you could post your prompt here that would help! Perhaps you need to emphasize that only those fields should be returned. It also may help to use the field IDs instead (i.e. customfield_12345) as that removes any ambiguity with duplicate field names.

Hi @Daryna Podchakha

in order for the Community to advise you, it might be helpful to share the exact prompt. Just make sure you are not sharing company data with it.
