SourceTree used to create the remote branch when I created a new branch but it has ceased doing that. I have to go to the BitBucket site and manually create the remote branch before I can push the branch.
Is this a known defect? Just wanted to check before I logged a new defect -- it's really difficult to find existing defects in the bug system...
I am using the embedded version of Git v2.18. I did an updated of the embedded Git to v2.21 but that didn't fix it.
NOTE: I am using the SourceTree for Windows v3.2.6.3544. I am a few back because the last update I received wasn't working at all with several issues and errors. So I went back. I see the current release is v3.3.8. Maybe that will fix this issue but I don't want to try it unless I have recent to think it will be successful.
UPDATE: I installed v3.3.8 and it has not improved anything. Still no creation of the remote branch. I created defect 13075
