Different MacOS/Win UI

There are checkbox and yellow button inside "Unstaged files" on MacOS version, but on Win there is yellow button only. How can I display checkboxes again?

File Status in top left corner might be the view you are looking for now sure though; might not display the chkbox in Windows.

If I choose "No staging" then checkboxes appear.
