How to search a branch in remote branch list ?

I really want to have the ability to search remote branches

Strangely enough the feature used to exist. 
My friend using version 3.4.18 has this nice quick search window:


I am using even older one (3.4.5) and I don't have it.

But I have found the thread on SO claiming it used to exists on 4.0 for MAC.

I thought maybe there is an option enabling it but no one answered my question about it.

Interesting @Piotr Lukowski ,

I've actually only played with Sourcetree for a bit. Never actively used it. I've tried digging through documentation, but couldn't find anything that would support this.

I'll try to reach out to Community Support staff to see if they will be able to assist, but I cannot promise anything :/

There seems to be an open feature request for this: SRCTREEWIN-7095: Add search for remote branches, but as you can see, it's been a while since it was updated. I'm not sure how often the product team implements these changes, but I would still suggest dropping a vote and potentially your requirement in the comment section. 👀

@Tomislav Tobijas maybe the feature already exists and just need to be enabled somehow (see my answer above)?
